Through out the United States many industries require that your staff be training in CPR, AED, & Basic First aid. In those industries that don’t require such training, providing it to your staff is a great way to increase workplace safety and lower your health insurance costs at the same time. This package has been put together specifically to meet the needs of your business and includes not only provider level certifications but also training of an in-house instructor for every 12 members of your staff. The inclusion of instructor training in this package allows you to conduct your required bi-annual refresher programs independently and train your new staff as part of the employee orientation.

All training conducted results in nationally recognized certification for your staff that is valid for a period of 24 calendar months. Employers can elect to have staff certified either through the American Red Cross or Emergency First Response.

This program takes 8 hours for your staff and an additional 8 hours for the individuals who will be trained as your in-house instructor. The below sample schedules provides you with an idea as to how training is conducted for your staff. These schedules are samples only, the schedule for your course can easily be customized to meet your companies individual needs.

How Much Does It Cost?

Course packages are billed in intervals of 12 students & 1 instructor being trained. The below listed chart is all inclusive of student training, instructor training, student materials, and instructor materials. An application fee for the instructor is paid directly to the certification agency and is not part of this cost.

0 – 12 Students 13 – 24 Students 25 – 36 Students 36+ Students
$1,200* $2,000* $2,800* Call

The above prices do not include instructor expenses: Locations with in a 90 mile radius of Durham NC will have no instructor expenses. A per day per diem will apply for any location outside of a 90 mile radius of Durham NC. The per diem rates are based on GSA set rates for the given year, which can be determined here. Client will also be responsible for instructor travel expenses via the most economical means.

I have done a lot of research and the above prices fall well below the average cost being offered for this package else. Although the per student average for 0 – 12 students is $100 please remember that this price also includes all the course materials & certifications. It also includes the training of an instructor, the materials alone for which are $300 and instructor training is often in the range of $500. With the instructor course factored in a class of 12 staff members is actually only around $33 per student and that includes all the materials & fees! No one in the industry is offering this level of training at this price, anywhere!

Special Needs?

Perhaps your staff also need training on emergency oxygen or hazardous materials, I do that to! DOT requires many locations to train there staff on the handling of Hazardous Materials and there is no better time to do it then when they are already in class. Include this information in your request for training and we can factor that in as well.
