Morning arrived quickly, as sleeping under the stars also means being greeted by the rising of the sun. The morning was easily was one of the nicest days since we started the trail and it would clearly be warmer then any of the days we had encountered up to that point. It was somewhat disappointing that the entire trip couldn’t have had the same weather today would provide.

With just over a mile to hike for the day the only thing motivating us to get moving in the morning the was thought of hot showers and cheeseburgers and similar meals once we arrived back in civilization. The hike passed quickly due to the short distance and with in an hour of getting on the trail we were back at the outdoor center returning the group gear to the gear lockers.
We had a short ceremony were we where presented with certificates of completion for the course, and parted ways shortly there after. I do wish there was more to tell about the last day of course but due to the shortness of the day there really isn’t that much to be said.
